Comune di SUNO

I paesi di Suno, Bogogno e Cressa ospiteranno l'edizione di quest'anno dei mondiali di ciclismo per disabili. Da mercoledì 8 settembre a domenica 13 settembre ci saranno gare  su strada, gare a cronometro individuali e due pomeriggi di allenamento

E' un'occasione importante per far conoscere il nostro territorio e il nostro paese, oltre al piacere di ospitare questi atleti speciali, provenienti da 40 nazioni di tutti i continenti.

E' un modo anche per  incoraggiare questi atleti e per farli sentire dei protagonisti, anche se soltanto per pochi giorni.

Il percorso è lungo 9,7 km. con curve impegnative, diverse discese e salite.

Le premiazioni si svolgeranno a Bogogno.

UCI PARACYCLING WORLDCHAMPIONSHIP 2009.

This year's paracycling world champioship will be held on the track through three towns: Bogogno, Cressa and Suno. It will start on the 8^th September until 13^th. We think there will be cyclists from about forty countries of all the continents and it will be a pleasure to guest these special competitors.

It can be considered a great occasion to get our village in touch with many citizens of the world.

It is a way to give a hand to disabled people, to encourage them during the race, to make them feel as the main characters, under a spot even if only for a few days.

The race course includes descents and slopes, with four sharp bends and the whole distance is  9.7 km.

On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon there will be only personal training. The races will start on Thursday morning with the individual  time trials that wil continue also on Friday. On Saturday and

Sunday   there will be the men and women road races. The medal ceremonies will be held in Bogogno.
